Welcome to Lynch!

M.A. Lynch Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! Thank you for trusting us to help your child grow socially, emotionally, and academically. A strong partnership between families and the Lynch team are critical our student’s success! To help launch relationships for the year, please join us for Back to School Night on Thursday, September 18th, from 5:30–7:00 p.m.

We know the transition from summer to school can be an adjustment. To help, we invite you to visit your child’s classroom from 8:45–9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2nd. This is a great time to meet the teacher, drop off school supplies, and share in the excitement of a new year. Student success also depends on consistent, positive participation from students and families. Please ensure your child arrives by 8:45 a.m. each day after getting 9–11 hours of sleep each night. This consistent routine puts your child in the best position to start each day successfully.

We continue to prioritize student-to-student kindness and foster a stronger sense of belonging guided by feedback from our 2024 student experience survey. These surveys help us understand students’ experiences and strengthen their voice in creating a safe and positive school culture. Parent and caregiver feedback came from 48 spring survey responses, which affirmed our strengths and highlighted opportunities to improve communication—especially in sharing  and celebrating student progress with families. At Lynch, our goal is for every student to feel safe, supported, and valued, so learning thrives—and so that students are eager to run through our doors each morning!

We are thrilled to welcome new staff members to the Lynch family. They bring a wealth of talent and experience to our team. If you see a new face on campus, please introduce yourself and your child.

Arrival

Students who don’t ride a bus enter campus through the west, south, or north gates and all students enter the building through the south doors near the cafeteria and garden. Please remember that there is no before school recess and the playground is closed.

As they arrive, we will have students finish any outside food or drinks before entering, so they can check out school breakfast options and smoothly transition into the day.

Late Arrivals (After 9:00)

It is very important that your child is at school on time. If your child is late (dental appointment, etc.) walk to the front entrance door and ring the buzzer. Our secretary will check in and allow the student to enter. The student will come into the front lobby, sign in, and grab breakfast before heading to class.
