Student Safety Reminder: Arrival Times and Transportation
We are pleased to see a growing number of students choosing to ride scooters and bicycles to school this year. This is a positive trend, and we are glad to provide bike racks on campus to support these efforts.
However, we have observed an increasing number of students arriving significantly earlier than our official start time of 8:45 a.m. During this unsupervised time, there has been an increase of concerning behavior, including students weaving between vehicles in the front parking lot and engaging in unsafe activities such as "playing chicken" with cars on Kalama.
To help ensure the safety of all students, we kindly ask that families ensure their children arrive closer to the 8:45 a.m. bell, when campus gates open and staff supervision begins.
Student safety remains our highest priority. We appreciate your continued partnership, and attention to this matter to help us maintain a secure and orderly environment for all.
Respectfully,
Chris Wyland
M.A. Lynch Principal
