My name is Katie Ortgies and I am an Outreach and Education Coordinator for the Oregon Health Insurance Marketplace. Our goal is to provide education and support to individuals and their families that have questions about health coverage and the Marketplace. Our primary goal is to help all Oregonians find affordable health coverage that fits their needs.

In previous years, school districts across the state have distributed flyers to student’s families notifying them of the upcoming open enrollment period that runs from Nov. 1 through Jan. 15, for Marketplace coverage. This is the primary time for people to apply for financial assistance and enroll in a health plan for next year. It is our hope your school district will continue to support our efforts in reaching your student’s families to let them know about this important time.

You can choose to distribute the attached flyer electronically or we can have them printed and mailed to you. Please respond with your preference. If you prefer printed copies, we can send them in bundles of 25. Please let us know how many copies you’d like and the best mailing address to send them to.
