Rollerblading in PE
Dear Lynch Families,
In your child’s 1-3rd grade physical education class, they will begin an inline skating unit on Monday, March 2nd for approximately 3-4 weeks. This is
always a highly anticipated activity that is a lot of fun, great exercise, and motivates children to be active. The students must learn how to put on all nine
pieces of gear correctly before skating. The extra protective gear is to ensure the student is able to skate safely and learn basic skating skills. To
ensure that each student has clean skates to use, I require each student to bring an extra clean pair of socks on the student’s day of having PE. If
the child likes, he/she can bring their own helmet and/or pads. However, I have plenty of equipment for each student to use. If you would like to
volunteer to help students get up and rolling please contact the Office for instructions on how to get your volunteer clearance.
Thanks for your support,
Mr. Kelly- PE specialist, Lynch Elementary
**If you DO NOT want your child to participate, please contact the office at 541.923.4876 and let us know so your child can attend a different Specials rotation class.**
