Monster Dash October 30th
Posted Date: 10/29/26 (01:45 PM)
We are so looking forward to our Monster Dash event tomorrow, (10/30). Run times are: 3rd-5th grade 10-11am, and K-2nd Grade 12:45-1:45pm. We have previously communicated that costumes should be free of masks, fake blood and fake weapons. The District is also adding in some suggestions to make this a safe, fun event for all.
- Be respectful. Costumes should not make fun of or imitate another person’s race, ethnicity, culture, or identity.
- Keep your face visible. Masks and face paint that hide a student’s identity are not allowed.
- Keep everyone safe. Toy weapons and look-alike weapons are not allowed as part of a costume.
- Make sure we can recognize you. Full-body costumes or other coverings that make it difficult to identify a student are not permitted.
- Follow the school dress code. All costumes must meet our regular school clothing expectations.
When in doubt, choose a different costume! We want everyone to have fun, feel safe, and feel welcome at our school.
**In addition, we will be having everyone sign in before going to the track. Please park in the parking lot and walk to the small gate near the track. There will be a sign in table and a sign to guide you. The gate will be open 9:30-11:30 and 12:15-2:15 so we can get everyone in and out safely**.
Remember to turn in your envelopes if you have been collecting money and we hope to see you tomorrow!!
